Health and safety is an integral part of the day-to-day operations at PF Collins. It is a vital part of maintaining a safe and friendly atmosphere and is a key component of protecting the health and safety of our employees, clients, subcontractors, and the public. Working in a safe and healthy manner is a condition of employment.
All employees are required to follow safe work practices to protect themselves and others, wear and use the required Personal Protective Equipment, participate in HSE training programs, and inform managers and/or supervisors of unsafe work conditions.
As a part of our HSE Program, we are active participants in the Certificate of Recognition (COR™) Program, a nationally recognized occupational health and safety standard, in good standing with the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Safety Association (NLCSA).
Recognizing the importance of security, our facilities maintain a high level of security, including perimeter and intrusion alarms, video surveillance, gate access control, and after hours perimeter checks Our warehouse is a Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) bonded area and we are registered to the following security programs:
